Which Braces Have The Fastest Treatment Time?

May 22nd, 2014
Q.

Hello Dr Qureshi, I’m hoping you can help me out. Around 6 years ago I had braces and my teeth were fine after treatment, very straight. I didn’t wear the retainer as much as I should have so I only have myself to blame I know, but my teeth have now moved back to their original position. Obviously I want my teeth to be straight again, but now time is an issue so I need the fastest brace possible!!! What would you suggest? I’ve been looking at both fixed and removable braces. Thanks!

Which Lingual Brace System Has The Shortest Treatment Time Attached To It?

February 24th, 2014
Q.

Hi Dr Qureshi, I have a question fr you. I am 49 years old and am considering lingual braces. I have crowded teeth and am really self-conscious of getting the traditional visible braces and was wondering what cost I’ll be looking at for Invisalign and any other lingual brace that I might be eligible for. Which one have the shortest treatment times? I hope you can help me, I’d really love to hear from you. Thanks.

What Is The Fastest Type Of Brace To Close The Gaps In Teeth?

January 2nd, 2014
Q.

Hello Dr Qureshi. I need to ask you what the easiest and fasted way to close gaps in teeth is? I have read a lot online about different wonder treatments that make me think the train tracs are pre-historic but then I read horror stories that make me think they’re the unavoidable reality. I don’t want train tracks but I would like to know what treatment works as well/better when closing gaps in teeth? Thank you for any advice you can provide me with in advance.

Will lingual braces take longer than regular braces to straighten teeth?

February 6th, 2013
Q.

Can you please help me with my situation dr patel. If I have a lingual brace will it take longer to have the treatment than getting the standard kind of equipment for this at the dentist. I know that when you have a brace on the front f your teeth it pulls the teeth apart. I can see how it would do this but I don’t understand how a lingual brace can physically pull teeth apart and if it can I don’t see how it would do it so quickly? thanks for your time and I hope you can answer me.

How long is it to get tooth gap closed wearing braces?

February 6th, 2013
Q.

Hi I have always had a gap betwwen my teeth, and I hated it, so after so many years I’m going to do something about it. How many dental visits do I have to make before and after the gap is closed and I have a tooth that is slightly higher up than all my other teeth, will this affect the gap being closed? Does the procedure take long and what do I have to do straight after the gap is closed? I cannot wait to start feeling confident again. thanks for your time. Kind Regards

Is 3 months a reasonable treatment time for the Inman Aligner?

January 11th, 2013
Q.

My dentist has told me that my treatment will only be a few months and I just wanted to make sure that that was the right diagnosis of my orthodontic condition. I question it just because I had treatment a few years back (which has now moved) and it took like over a year for anything to have happened and that was a fixed brace. I know my teeth aren’t as bad now, but I am just a bit worried that my dentist might just be fobbing me off. What do you think? Is 3 months a general treatment time with the Inman aligner? Thank you .

I don’t mind having a brace but do I have to have one of those on the front of my teeth?

April 24th, 2012
Q.

Hi Mr Patel I have been told that I will need to have braces. I don’t mind and actually quite want to have them in order to straighten my teeth. If I can help it though I don’t want the ones on the front of the teeth as I don’t like these. I learned of the lingual braces and the different types of linguals I could get. I was wondering how long it would take to have lingual braces put on? I like the look of the incognito brace, is the better and would it take longer to put on or not? thanks

Would it be possible to break my treatment up, between both arches?

March 2nd, 2012
Q.

Hi Darsh Patel. I was wondering if you could give me some advice about orthodontics on my lower teeth. My to teeth have moved ever so slightly out of line, really not noticeable without taking extra attention. my lower ones however have crowded badly, I’ve heard that is quite common. I would like to have to lower ones straightened which will more than likely require a brace I’m not fussed about that but would it be ok for me to come back at a later date and perhaps have Invisalign on the top arch? would this be possible or would I have to have all the treatment all at once? I don’t want a full system on the top arch its really not necessary/worth it when compared with the alignment you see?
