Clearstep Braces

What is Clearstep?

Clearstep is an ideal choice of orthodontic treatment for patients who want to go the discrete route when it comes to teeth straightening. Thanks to its use of clear aligners Clearstep braces are an excellent alternative to Lingual braces and other similar systems, offering state of the art treatment that is able to correct a wide spectrum of tooth irregularities.

What does treatment involve?

As with other orthodontic treatments you will need to attend an initial consultation to assess the suitability of Clearstep braces for your particular case. If approved, your dentist will take impressions of your teeth in order to create your custom-made Clearstep aligners. The aligners themselves are wafer thin and almost 'invisible' to the naked eye.

You would be required to visit the dentist every two weeks to have your aligners changed, to ensure your teeth are gently moved into the desired position. The aligners are removable which makes eating and cleaning your teeth simple. For best results the aligners need to be worn for around 22 hours a day.

What are the advantages of Clearstep?

  • A discrete option for straightening teeth
  • Removable to make eating and cleaning your teeth easy
  • An excellent alternative to Lingual braces and other 'invisible' options
  • Able to treat a range of conditions, including crowded teeth

Are there any disadvantages to Clearstep?

  • Regular check-ups at the dentist are necessary

  • You will need to clean your teeth and the aligners to maintain oral health
  • Not all dental practices offer Clearstep as a treatment
