Can you please help me with my situation dr patel. If I have a lingual brace will it take longer to have the treatment than getting the standard kind of equipment for this at the dentist. I know that when you have a brace on the front f your teeth it pulls the teeth apart. I can see how it would do this but I don’t understand how a lingual brace can physically pull teeth apart and if it can I don’t see how it would do it so quickly? thanks for your time and I hope you can answer me.

Hello. It will always depend on what lingual brace you have been given. I favour the incognito brace and they will take approximately the same time if not quicker as custom made in my hands. How the teeth exactly move is the orthodontist’s job so you must make sure that you trust their experience to deliver the desired end result.
