Hi Doctor. I’m In A Bit Of A Pickle, A Bracket Has Come Loose And Food Keeps Getting Caught In It. Is This Normal?

Hello Dr Qureshi. I’m in a bit of a pickle. My brace keeps getting food caught in it, it is the one that is on the back of the teeth and I didn’t think that this was supposed to happen. One of the brackets I think may be a little bit loose. Just wondering if it’s anything I should be concerned with. What would you suggest that I do? It’s the worst when I have toast or a sandwich, the bread just gets stuck and I have to reach for it with my tongue or when I clean my teeth. Is this just normal? Hi there Dr Patel!!! I’m really happy with my braces, but I really struggle with cleaning my very, very back teeth. Especially now that my braces have been tightened a little bit. It’s pretty much impossible to even attempt to get at them. So essentially I wanted to know whether or not you know of any neat tricks to get the back top and bottom teeth cleaned really well. I’ve tried to be inventive so far but a pipe cleaner doesn’t work too well! Hope to hear back from you. Thank you.
