I am seriously considering lingual braces or some other kind of invisible braces. Are these a better option in terms of how discreet they are? I’ve not really seen images of these or other invisible braces and I suppose you don’t know how discreet they are until you actually see them. Also what kind of experience and qualifications should I look for in a lingual dentist if you don’t mind me asking. Much appreciated.

In terms of discreetness, yes, either a lingual brace or Invisalign is best but it has to be judged according to the severity of the malocclusion and the types of tooth movements needed to straighten them.
Lingual orthodontics is quite specialist and not every orthodontist provides it, so I would go with someone who has more than just one or two cases on the go.
