Hello and please advise. I’m studying to become a trained actor and i’ve been advised by my agent to enquire about braces because my top set of teeth are very spaced and one of my canines protrude quite a bit. He thinks that if i have dental braces it’ll improve my chances of doing well in auditions/receiving more auditions etc. as you would expect really. I need something quick and discreet and something that does not affect my speech in ANY way, any recommendations? thanks!

Hello. Many actors are undergoing treatment using discrete braces the likes of which include Lingual brace appliances and Invisalign aligners. Unfortunately the quickest ones, i.e Lngual appliances can have an initial speech “Lisp” issue but this tends to get better with time. Get yourself a consultation with a specialist who provide a lot of these and then see what you like.
