Would lingual braces work to fix a protruding bottom jaw?

Q.
Would you recommend lingual braces for someone who has a protruding bottom jaw? Mine really, really sticks out and just makes me so uncomfortable and awkward in public. It also stops me from eating or speaking properly and I just feel that enough is enough and it’s time to get treatment! Do you think the lingual braceis a good choice for me and if not could you recommend other treatment for me? Any help you can give would be brilliant and i very much appreciate it thank you for your time and help
A.
Without doubt braces would be a great option, whether they are lingual or ones on the outside. The only issue is why is your bottom jaw sticking out and if this is significant enough, it will require additional help for jaw surgery to correct.
Dont panic, as this can only be assessed with an orthodontic consultation, so i suggest this as a first port of call.

Come back to me once you have had this done if you need any other advice.
Good luck
