Hi Dr. Qureshi, I’m wondering if you could help me. I stood on my Invisalign aligner by accident. It fell out of my mouth as I was putting it in and I just stepped on it. It’s completely snapped. I’m not keen on my dentist, I feel as though he lectures me and I don’t want to go back just for him to be angry at me and tell me I have to pay a lot of money for a new replacement. Will I be charged for the replacement of this particular set of aligners? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi there. Please don’t be afraid to return to your dentist, he is there to help you after all. The procedure to replace the aligner is relatively simple, all you have to do is let the dentist know which number aligner it is and then he can get it reordered. As to the cost, I’m not sure how expensive it will be, but there is likely to be a charge of some sort. I’m sure he’ll understand, as these things do happen. Good luck!
