Dear expert. I don’t know how this works but If you could take the time out to read my question i would be most grateful. I want to have a brace but I don’t know anything about them, I’ve read up on them on here and indeed on your site. I am 90% sure I want incognito. for a few reasons one being that it is on the back of teeth, two I’ve heard really good things about it from my dentist and three because it looks cool!! I’d be 100% on it but my orthodontist is trying to get me to have a Damon brace? he says either will be good for me but this to me looks like a normal brace but a bit more sleek? would this be better than incognito or would you say have that?

Both are good braces and the best in their respective fields. What I mean by this is that in my opinion the damon brace is the best outside brace available and the same goes for incognito and inside braces. The decision really is dependent on whether teeth need to be extracted and the initial crowding and bite to determine what i would consider the best between the two if looks was not an issue! I find that most Orthodontists tend to lean towards the damon brace because they are not very experienced using the lingual appliance ( you may want to find out how many cases they have ever done!). Ultimately if you are in experienced hands either option is viable and literally your decision based on looks and costs!
