I’m 28 years old and have a pretty big gap between my two front teeth, which bothers me more than my overbite. Obviously it would be ideal to get both sorted BUT my main concern is the gap because it’s so obvious. I’ve been looking at veneers but would the overbite prevent me from being able to have them? My dentist thinks braces would be better than veneers, but I thought I’d get a second opinion from your good self. How much would the quickest option cost? Thank you!

Hello, thanks for your question. Large gaps at the front of the teeth can be tricky to treat. It might be worth having a combination of both braces and veneers, with the braces moving the teeth into a better position and the veneers closing the gap. This procedure would have to be agreed upon by an orthodontist and a cosmetic dentist and the price will depend on the methods and systems you choose. Good luck!
